TORONTO - The Actors' Fund of Canada and Cover FX marked a successful year of partnership in May with a star studded celebration at Wish restaurant in Toronto, organized by Derek Selby and Wanda Longo of Cover FX. A portion of the proceeds from every bottle of Skin Prep FX, Nourishing Foundation Primer and Anti-Aging Serum goes to the Actors' Fund of Canada, resulting in over $5,000 being raised in the last year.

Guests and Cover FX staff and management mingled with celebrities including television personality Rick Mercer and actresses Wendy Crewson, Fiona Reid, Barbara Mamabolo and Actors' Fund President Barry Flatman. The collaboration was originally orchestrated by Gemini and Emmy Award winning makeup artist Donald Mowat, an IATSE 873 member and Actors' Fund Board Member. Mowat, who is currently working on Cowboys and Aliens with Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford, was on hand to discuss the Cover FX's support of the Actors' Fund. Also on hand were makeup artists Traci Loader from NABET Local 700 and Marlene Aarons from IATSE Local 873. "As an anti-aging product or a skin primer, Skin Prep FX is a must for my kit, on set and in the makeup trailer" said Mowat of the product.

"The Actors Fund is for everybody who works in the entertainment industry" said Cover FX co-founder, Lee Graff "I'm proud to be part of an initiative that raises awareness and money for this important charity."
