"Just when I thought I had it together I experienced several personal and professional events which led to a very precarious financial position. When catering failed to cover some emergency expenses I looked to The Actors' Fund.
I learned that many of our country's most talented and prominent artists received financial assistance from the Fund at some point in their careers.
I had supported the Fund through payroll deductions in the past. Now, what was previously an abstract organization, became a very real and necessary resource to me.
The caring response I received from the Fund was reassuring and allowed me to cope with a troubling situation and to take appropriate action to restore my financial well-being.
I am grateful to the Fund and will continue to lend my support in the form of opening night donations and payroll deductions. I encourage my peers to offer whatever support they can to ensure The Actors' Fund's security."
