Giving through payroll is a fantastic way to give back to the Fund while you are working.

You choose how much you would like to donate, either as a dollar amount or as a percentage of your pay and that money is taken directly off your paycheque and sent to the Fund with no hassle on your end.

To give through payroll, ask the company that you are working with if they can accommodate payroll giving. Most theatres are more than willing to help. Then simply download and print the attached form (you may want to print extra for other members of the cast and crew) and hand it in to the person in your theatre who manages payroll.

While most theatre are more than willing to take part, some may not have participated in payroll giving and will have questions. You can have them call us at 416.975.0304 and we will answer any questions they have.

Why Give Through Payroll?

• Having donations to the Fund automatically deducted from your pay when you’re working is an easy way to give. Even small amounts, contributed regularly, can add up to a substantial contribution.
  These small weekly amounts will likely not
• be noticed by you, but will prove significant for the Fund
• The Fund will issue you a tax receipt for your donation at the end of the year
• The Fund’s administrative costs for your donation are greatly reduced, which means more of your dollar goes directly to helping a colleague in need
